Player privacy notice

Scoring rules are approved. Registration and entry remain closed pending launch approval, email delivery verification and final privacy terms.

At launch, MotorPedia will use your email for verification and requested password recovery, and your display name for public competition rankings. Email addresses will never appear on leaderboards. No marketing messages are enabled.

Passwords are stored using Django password hashing. Browser sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies. Player accounts have no research or staff access.

Account deletion removes your email and display name and disables sign-in. Anonymised predictions and calculation audits remain to preserve competition integrity. Operational retention periods and a contact process must be approved before launch.
